·From the Knowledge Explorer define the attributes, features and components that you wish the user to select from.
·For each attribute, feature, etc., use the attribute editor to define the properties and the instances (values).
·From the Knowledge Explorer add constraints object for any validation restriction on the combination of attributes, features etc.
·For each constraint object use the object editor wizard to decide whether you representing constraint knowledge using a decision tree, a table of cases or both.
·If the knowledge is expressed as cases, then from the cases tabs define the attributes (columns) that you wish to constrain. Enter the rows (valid / invalid combinations) of the cases table.
·If the knowledge is expressed as a tree then induce from cases if they are defined, otherwise build the tree by adding new attribute objects
